We are looking for a talented Production Manager to join our growing team. As a key member of our successful creative content agency, you will be working across a broad range of exciting productions – from corporate communications through to high-end branded content, immersive media and more.

Reporting to the Executive Producer, this is a full-time opportunity for either an experienced Production Manager, or a talented Production Co-ordinator looking to make a step up.

This role would suit someone with strong production experience who wants to work at a dynamic, boutique creative company in London. You will be responsible for the day to day management of productions, booking crew and facilities, managing legal documentation and contracts, and establishing relationships with suppliers, our extended freelance family and building new relationships.

It is essential for the individual to have a broad range of freelance industry contacts/leads (e.g. editors, animators, camera crews, scriptwriters etc) across a range of production types/styles (animations, behind-the-scenes brand videos, documentaries to TV idents).

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include:

  • Sourcing, confirming and managing crews, production schedules, call sheets, risk assessments, cost reports/monitors and other key procedures associated within production and delivery of our projects.

  • Overall management of projects, from pre to post, often on tight turnarounds and tight budgets

  • Document and troubleshoot projects and spot issues ahead of time

  • Liaising with colleagues and external clients

  • Keeping the production calendars up to date with the production process

  • Writing call sheets and risk assessments

  • Working closely with producers, post-production team and Account Managers

  • Booking travel and accommodation and arranging visa, locations permits and carnets

 

Personal specification

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Production Co-ordinator or Production Manager in a production company or agency environment

  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible and friendly client management style

  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to prioritise and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • In-depth understanding of the moving image process

  • Ability to adapt your skills and approach to a broad range of project types

  • Exceptional people and team management skills

  • A strong network of London-based crew and suppliers

  • Effective negotiation skills, experienced with managing suppliers and contractors

  • Experience of using project management platforms and webtools
    Strong working knowledge of software packages including MS Office
